Quote of the Day (Peggy Noonan, Flaying Rumsfeld Alive)

“I like Donald Rumsfeld. I've always thought he was a hard-working, intelligent man. I respected his life in public service at the highest and most demanding levels. So it was with some surprise that I found myself flinging his book against a wall in hopes I would break its stupid little spine.”—Peggy Noonan, “Bin Laden Got Away,” The Wall Street Journal, March 12, 2011

I have a funny feeling these two won’t be sending each other Christmas cards anytime again soon, don’t you?

Hi Mike; I saw a letter to the Editor today in the NY Post by a writer who said maybe Peggy Noonan forgot that it was Bill CLinton who called off the chance to assasinate Bin Laden when they had himn in their sites. He said maybe she forgot tha tpart when she threw the book against the wall:D I remember seeing that portrayed on the docudrama Passage to 9/11 on TV.
